The Mineralogy Gallery displays a selection of this collection, with approximately one thousand specimens on exhibition.This space also pays tribute to José Bonifácio de Andrada e Silva, Professor of Metallurgy at the University of Coimbra, known as the Patriarch of Brazil’s Independence.
